Account Information Up to Date

 

If any of your personal information changes, such as address, last name, employment, phone numbers or email address, please notify the credit union in writing, so that we can continue to provide prompt and efficient service to you, our valued members.

We Want You to Know:  HCTA Federal Credit Union (HCTA FCU) respects the privacy of its members.  Protecting the privacy of your personal information, along with your financial assets, is at the core of our business.  It is our priority to protect your information in every way in which we interact with you, whether it be in a branch, over the telephone, by mail, or online through the Internet.  We exercise great care in safeguarding your nformation in our business dealings with our affiliates and other complanies.  We value your trust and recognize that the confidentiality of your personal information is one of our most important responsibilities.

How We Protect Your Information:  Our employees are trained on the necessity of maintaining the confidentiality of your information.  We limit access to personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products and services to you, maintain your accounts, and conduct business.


We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard against unauthorized access to your personal information.  These measures apply to internal access, as well as to information shared with our affiliates and other companies with whom we do business.

What You Can Do to Help Protect Your Privacy:  HCTA FCU is committed to protecting your personal financial information.  You can help by following these simple guidelines:


Protect your account numbers, card numbers, PINs, and passwords.  Never keep your PIN with your Debit/ATM card.  It can provide free access to your accounts if your card is lost or stolen.


Use caution when disclosing your account number, Social Security number, or other basic information to other persons.


BEWARE:  If someone calls you and says that they are calling on behalf of HCTA FCU and asks for your account number, DO NOT give it to them.  Officials and staff of HCTA FCU already have access to your information and will not need to ask for it.  If this should happen please notify us immediately so that we are aware of the fact that someone is impersonating a HCTA FCU employee.  Call us at 410 461-2257.
